How do you select each hotel, spa, villa and venue for the Guide?

We have a global team of dedicated Local Experts who research, inspect and invite properties to join the Condé Nast Johansens collection. Located around the world, they are a diverse group of professionals with indepth knowledge and experience of the luxury hospitality sector. They inspect each property year-on-year to guarantee quality control. If a property has the Condé Nast Johansens seal of approval, you can trust you’ll have an exceptional experience.

How often do you release a Guide?

Annually. We print two publications each year: the Luxury International Hotels Guide, which goes on sale in November; and the Luxury International Spas Guide, which goes on sale in January. 

Does your collection include exclusive-use properties?

Yes! We recommend a range of exclusive-use venues in stunning locations for every occasion from private villas and apartments to boutique hotels, wine estates, events venues and quirky retreats; safari camps too, which can be exclusively hired. Submit any questions you may have regarding your upcoming event/holiday via our Venue Finder Service and we will reply to you with suggestions.

How do I book a property in a Guide?

It’s very simple! Click the Booking Enquiry button located on the property page and complete the form. Sending an enquiry via our website places you in direct contact with someone at the property, which can lead to savings, special offers and VIP privileges.

Great news! We ship to both the UK and internationally. 

Please note that deliveries to Europe (not including the UK) will take up to 7 days. Deliveries elsewhere will take up to 2 weeks.
